The game mechanics of Palworld extend beyond the initial impressions, especially regarding the complexity of the Pals' systems. They aren't mere objects to capture and work endlessly. They have to be managed carefully or the success of your whole base could come to a halt.
Palworld encourages players to care for Pals, understanding their needs, wants, and concerns. These captured beings can face both physical and mental ailments. One such ailment is the mysterious Overfull. The guide below details everything you need to know about it.
What is Overfull?
No one would dispute that Pals in Palworld aren't hardworking. However, like all workers, they require some love and care. Despite experiencing depression or having a fracture, most of them remain willing to carry out your requests, albeit with diminished efficiency. Pals can suffer from various ailments, one of which is a condition known as Overfull.
A Pal may be plagued with the Overfull ailment, transforming it into an eating machine. The game terms Overfull as "Insatiable" and notes that the afflicted Pal's hunger meter will decrease rapidly, meaning you will require more food to keep the Pal working diligently. The interesting thing about this ailment is that it can pop up randomly, and there's no apparent way to prevent it. Fortunately, it can be easily cured.
How to Cure Overfull in Palworld
Curing Overfull isn't challenging once you know what steps to take. All you need to do is feed Low Quality Medical Supplies to your Pal afflicted with the ailment. However, before you do that, you must learn how to craft these supplies first. The said medical items can be crafted using the Medieval Medicine Workbench, which becomes accessible through the Technology Tree once you reach Level 12.
Following the unlocking of the Medieval Medicine Workbench, your next objective is to gather the necessary resources to craft Low Quality Medical Supplies. These resources include:
-
5x Red Berries
-
2x Horns
Red Berries can be easily obtained through a bit of exploration. Look for bushes bearing small red berries and collect them. Horns can be looted from Pals such as Arsox, Caprity, Eikthyrdeer, or purchased from the wandering merchant for a modest price of 300 Gold Coins.
Once you have the required resources, return to the workbench and craft the medical supplies. If you don't want to go through the hassle of resource gathering and crafting, you're in luck. Low Quality Medical Supplies can also be looted from specific Pals like Lifmunk, Vaelet, and Flopie. Pursue these Pals and stock up with the desired medical supplies to make sure that your hard workers won't suffer from Overfull ailment for long.
