To get legendary weapons and armor, as well as other valuable resources in Palworld, you need to explore the mines. There are nine of these locations in the game, and at each location, you'll encounter Alpha Pals of different element types who act as bosses at these locations. Of course, many valuable items are worth the challenge, but this may be your last attempt without proper preparation.
Mineshafts are a kind of dungeons that you can find in the Palworld. You can encounter these places in every biome, but these locations are not marked on the map, which can make it difficult to find them. So, to help you test your luck and skill in boss battles as well as collect valuable loot, here's everything you need to know about each of these locations.
1.Forgotten Mineshaft
In the Forgotten Mineshaft, you'll meet Ice Kingpaca Alpha Pal. Similar to the Iceberg Mineshaft location above, you can find this mine in the Snow Biome if you head a little further north. To get there, you should go to the Land of Absolute Zero fast travel point and head southwest to the point shown on the screenshot. You will be at the entrance when you are at the coordinates (255, 480).
Ice Kingpaca will be at level 46, so it's best to bring well-trained Fire-type Pals, like Blazamunt, Rooby, or Jormuntide Ignis. In addition, cold-resistant armor, as well as a good weapon and enough ammo for it, will come in handy if you decide to take on this boss.
2.Dessicated Mineshaft
In the dessicated mineshaft, you will encounter the Menasting Alpha Pal. This mineshaft is located in the northeast, actually at the very edge of the map. To get there, go to Duneshelter or the PIDF Tower Entrance, then head south to the location shown in the screenshot above. You will be at the entrance when your coordinates are 495 and 80. The best choice when preparing for a visit to this location would be Water or Dragon-type Pals, such as Jormuntide, as they are the most effective against Menasting.
3.Shoal Mineshaft
In the Shoal Mineshaft, you will meet Broncherry Aqua Alpha Pal. This will likely be the first mineshaft you visit, as it is the closest to the initial spawn location. The closest fast-travel point to this location is the Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster. From there, you can reach Mineshaft by heading northwest from the fast travel point, and the best way to do this is to swim there with your Water Pal. You will be at the entrance when you are at the coordinates -145, -445.
We recommend visiting this mineshaft in the daytime, as otherwise you will see almost nothing. In addition, we recommend bringing at least one fire- or electric-type pistol and progressing to the point where you can craft firearms instead of bows and arrows.
4.The Furthest Mineshaft
In The Furthest Mineshaft, you will find a Dinossom Lux Alpha Pal. Like the Dessicated Mineshaft, you can find this Mineshaft in the desert, which is located in the northeast of the map. The closest fast travel point from which you can reach this location is called Deep Sand Dunes, and you need to move from it to the west, to the foot of the mountain shown in the screenshot above.
You will be at the entrance when you are at the coordinates 350, 560. Dinossom Lux is a level 47 boss, so ensure that you're well-prepared for the fight. Since this Alpha Pal has an Electric Dragon Elemental Type, it's best to bring Ground or Ice type Pals to fight against it.
5.Iceberg Mineshaft
In the Iceberg Mineshaft, you will meet Lyleen Noct Alpha Pal, which is one of the rarest Pals in the game. This mineshaft is located in the very north of the map, and the nearest fast-travel point to it is Unthawable Lake. To get from this fast travel point to the entrance, you need to head northwest to the location shown in the screenshot above. You will be at the entry when you are at the coordinates -140, 320.
Lyleen Noct is a rather difficult level 49 enemy. Pals such as Jormuntide, Jormuntide Ignis, and Orserk will come in handy if you take them on this journey.
6.Scorching Mineshaft
In the Scorching Mineshaft, you will find Blazamut Alpha Pal. This mineshaft is close to such fast travel points as the Foot of the Volcano and Mount Obsidian Midpoint. To get to the destination shown in the screenshot above, you need to move south of the mentioned teleports. You will be at the entrance when you are at the coordinates -435, -530.
Prepare well for your visit by bringing a powerful ranged weapon like a legendary crossbow, as the boss you will encounter will be level 49. However, the efforts spent on the battle will not be in vain, as you can get a rare legendary assault rifle schematic for the victory.
7.Devout Mineshaft
In the Devout Mineshaft, you will meet Elizabee Alpha Pal. You can find this mineshaft in the very center of the map, next to the Lake Center fast travel point. To get to the entrance, you need to go a little north of the teleporter, to the place shown in the screenshot above; its coordinates are 30, -183.
Unlike the other Pals mentioned in this guide, Elizabee is a relatively easy enemy, and the level of this boss is only 31. Despite being in a good position to win, we recommend that you bring a couple of Fire Element-type Pals, such as Arsox or Reptyro.
8.Destroyed Mineshaft
In the destroyed mineshaft, you'll come across the Astegon Alpha Pal. This is another mine shaft that you can find near the Mount Obsidian Midpoint fast travel point, but in this case, you need to head west of the teleporter. You will be at the entrance when you are at these coordinates: -570, -415. Astegon is a level 48 Dark/Dragon-type Pal, so we recommend bringing a few Ice Element Pals, such as Penking, Wumpo, or Frostallion.
9.Falls Mineshaft
In Falls Mineshaft, Fenglope Alpha Pal will be waiting for you. Being not too far from the center of the map, this mineshaft is one of the most hidden ones. To get there, go to the Ascetic Falls fast travel point and find the waterfall located in the west at coordinates -250, 435.
When you get there, you may be puzzled as to where the entrance is, but it's easier than it looks—just walk through the waterfall, and you'll be inside. As for the boss you'll meet there, his level is only 25.
