Palworld Guide: Methods to Get Legendary Pistol

As the difficulty of the game increases, you'll need better weapons, and temporary pistols and rare pistols are two of the best weapons to build first as you progress through the tech tree in Palworld. But when you're climbing the ladder and facing a tough boss, even those guns feel weak. So in Palworld you need guns like the legendary pistol and the legendary assault rifle. This time we'll show you how to get a legendary pistol and get a significant damage boost to help you complete higher-level Boss challenges.

First you need to get a schematic of the legendary pistol in Palworld:

Defeat the Level 29 Thunderwing beacon boss
beacon Bosses will use ranged attacks, which can be blocked by large rocks in the Boss arena.
beacon Boss is an electric Pals, so bring your best grass Pals to get extra damage.
Robinquill Terra, Anubis, Warsect, Surfent Terra and Hangy are all excellent ground Pals.
Do not grab the boss, this will not drop the schematic.
The legendary schematic can take anywhere from 3 to 7 attempts to fall off the boss.
This requires a lot of patience to complete the challenge, but some players are likely to drop in one go, so try it out in the game.

Tips:If your level is 27 to 32, you must be close to this level 29 flying mount boss to defeat it. If you are of lower level then you should not try to kill Beakon.

How to defeat Beakon

Beakon's lighthouse is located deep in the bamboo forest in the southwest. It is a sort of underground cave formed by grassy stones. As shown above, the Boss can be seen roaming the cave.
The best part of this Boss fight is that there are no climate hazards. You can roam this part of the Palworld map without having to equip yourself with any heat or cold armor suits. This doesn't mean you're wearing bad armor in a Boss fight. You must have at least metal armor to participate in the Beakon Boss battle. Otherwise, you can die in a few strokes.Beakon is one of the best electric Pals in Palworld. This makes him weak against friends of the ground element type, and they deal excellent damage

So we can prepare for Beakon:

Bring the best ground Pal: Robinquill Terra, Anubis, Warsect, Surfent Terra, and Hangyu are the best ground Pal when fighting Beakon. Anubis is particularly effective because this Pal has a lot of ranged attacks.
Distance and use guns: While your Pals try to get close and make a melee attack, you on the other hand need to keep your distance and use ranged weapons. If you are level 30, then bring a makeshift gun, rifle, or pistol.
Use Flying Pal: Since Beakon is a flying boss, you can ride a flying Pal yourself, try shooting with a gun, and use flying skills to defeat. There are not many ground-flying Pal's, so this strategy should also work.
Fire Arrows: Fire crossbows and fire bows can be easily made at this stage. If you don't have an industrial-grade gun, get those weapons ready and light the Beakon.
Use rocks: boss Arena has a lot of huge boulders. You can use them to dodge Beakon's attacks and then fire when your friend catches the Boss's attention.

Tips：The point of this Boss battle is not to capture this Boss, but to destroy it to get the legendary pistol schematics in Palworld. If you capture a Boss, you will only receive standard resource materials and will not receive any indicative drops of varying rarity.

The Legendary Pistol schematic is not a fixed drop item, so it may be necessary to defeat the boss several times. Each time you defeat Beakon, you drop fixed material.

If you don't drop schematics, try again one day in the game, and be careful to walk around each time you beat Beakon to make sure you pick up all the dropped items, as schematics don't automatically appear in your inventory.
How to make a legendary pistol with schematics

You will need the following items to make a legendary pistol:

How To Get Refined Ingot:

Pal Metal Ingot is a high level material used for crafting advanced items, and it requires specific structures for crafting it.

To begin, your character should reach at least level 44 to unlock and craft the Electric Furnace from the technology menu. Once unlocked, you'll need 50 Refined Ingots, 10 Circuit Boards, 20 Polymer, and 20 Carbon Fiber.

With all these steps set up, all you need to do now is gather the materials needed to craft the Pal Metal Ingot, which is four Ore and two Palladium Fragments.

Tips:A Power Generator is unlocked at level 26 in the Technology menu and requires 50 Ingots and 20 Electric Organs to build.Keep in mind that, despite being an Electric Furnace, like all furnaces in the game, you will need a fire-type pal such as Foxparks, to produce the Ingot you need.

How To Farm Ancient Civilization Parts：

Before you start farming Ancient Civilization Parts, it's essential to know where and how to obtain them. This material is primarily dropped by the Alpha Pals, which are bosses, in the game, and facing these bosses is one of the most challenging aspects of the game.

Open-world bosses are relatively easier to locate on the map. As you uncover the map, their pal icons and levels become visible, enabling you to choose bosses that match your level.

On the other hand, dungeon bosses, or dungeons in general, are not displayed on the map, have a limited spawn time, and are scattered throughout the game world.

After you defeat or capture these bosses, you will get a number of Ancient Civilization Parts, and fortunately, they respawn after a certain period, allowing you to farm them.

The most effective way we've found to plant ancient civilization parts is to choose a low level open world Boss with a lower level than you. You can repeatedly fight these bosses by moving back and forth between them as they respawn.

During the early levels, two accessible and easier-to-defeat pal bosses are Sweepa and Gunmoss, both located southwest of the starting point in the game.

Sweepa's coordinates are -227, -593.
Gunmoss's coordinates are -113, -629.

These bosses are not only low-level; both are at level 11, but they are conveniently located close to each other. Therefore, anyone above level 15 with a robust pal and good equipment should be well-equipped to defeat them.

After defeating or capturing both bosses, continue your in-game journey as usual. When nightfall approaches, return to your base, sleep, and then revisit the bosses' location. They should have respawned and be ready for another round of farming.

How To Get High Quality Pal Oil

In order to obtain High-Quality Pal Oil, you'll need to prepare to farm high-level Pals in the desert region.

The earliest accessible area is where the Anubis fight takes place, located northwest from the game's starting point at coordinates -158, -91.

In this area, especially during the day, you'll come across a bunch of Digitoises, that look like turtles, and Dumuds, that resemble brown fish, and these Pals drop the High Quality Pal Oil you're looking for.
