In Palworld, the creation of numerous items and the construction of critical facilities are core activities. These tasks can be undertaken personally or delegated to your Pals, the helpful creatures in the game. The efficiency at which these tasks are completed is significantly influenced by the Work Speed attribute, a crucial factor that should always be taken into consideration.
While the game offers a vast open world ripe for exploration and the collection of unique resources, maintaining and developing your base requires considerable effort and time. To optimize time management, especially when it comes to crafting and building projects, it's essential to enlist the assistance of Pals boasting superior Work Speed stats.
Work Speed
Work Speed stands as one of the quintet of character attributes in the game, allowing for point investment and enhancement upon leveling up. Each level-up in this attribute results in a steadfast increase of 50 points.
The game provides a visible countdown for the completion of any crafting on the bench or construction at the base, with the duration—be it in minutes or seconds—hinging on the Work Speed stat of your character.
The effect of working speed
Pals, the game's companion creatures, also possess a Work Speed attribute that significantly influences how quickly they can finish specific tasks. This includes a variety of crafting and building operations such as planting, watering, harvesting, cooling, and kindling, all of which are directly impacted by a Pal's Work Speed.
A Pal with a lower Work Speed and level will require more time to finish a given task. Conversely, a Pal that boasts a higher level and a greater Work Speed stat can drastically reduce task completion times from minutes to mere seconds.
For instance, assigning a task with a 1,000 workload to a Pal that has a Work Speed of 70 and is at Handiwork level one would result in a completion time of approximately 20 minutes. However, a Pal with the same Work Speed of 70 but at a Handiwork level four can tackle the same task in just 46 seconds.
How to improve the speed of work
Neglecting to allocate skill points to your character's Work Speed can place you at a considerable disadvantage, particularly once you progress to unlocking items for higher-level building and crafting, such as industrial weapon ammunition. These tasks will become exceedingly slow without investment in Work Speed.
Fortunately, there's a straightforward remedy available that allows you to reset the skill points you've distributed among the five character stats. To achieve this reset, you'll need Memory Wiping Medicine, which permits you to reallocate your skill points, potentially favoring Work Speed for more efficient progress.
To craft the Memory Wiping Medicine, your first step is to construct the Electric Medicine Workbench, a facility that becomes available upon reaching Level 43 in the Technology Tree.
Once you've crafted and positioned the Electric Medicine Workbench within your base, gathering specific materials is the next step for producing the Memory Wiping Medicine.
