Obtaining Ability Glasses:
To acquire the Ability Glass, your initial step is hitting level 34. Upon reaching this milestone, access the blueprint in the purple segment of the Technology Tree's right side. However, unlocking it mandates four Ancient Technology Points in total. Once the blueprint is unlocked, you'll require specific materials:Refined Ingotx30,Paldium Fragmentx20,Ancient Civilization Partsx10,Ancient Civilization Corex5.
Acquiring Resources for Ability Glasses:
Acquire 30 Refined Ingots:
To craft Refined Ingots, ensure you've unlocked the Improved Furnace or a superior version. This requires reaching at least level 34. Gather 60 Ore and 60 Coal to produce the required 30 Refined Ingots.
For swift Ore collection at your base, construct either an Ore Mining Site or, for enhanced efficiency, an Ore Mining Site II.
If you opt for natural Ore collection, a substantial Ore deposit awaits at coordinates -257, -211.
For Coal, venture to the desert biome, Twilight Dunes, situated northeast of the mentioned coordinates. A rich Coal deposit is found at coordinates -158, -93.
Earn 20 Paldium Fragments
To acquire Paldium Fragments, mine Paldium Ore found in dungeons and select coastal regions. Occasionally, you may discover individual Paldium Fragments while exploring these areas.
If you have a sufficient stockpile of Stone in your base, construct a Crusher. Using it, you can convert 100 Stones into 20 Paldium Fragments. To operate the Crusher, ensure you have a Pal in your base with Watering Work Suitability.
Acquire 10 Ancient Civilization Parts:
To acquire Ancient Civilization Parts, engage Alpha Pals during map exploration or delve into dungeons scattered across the expansive game world, defeating the bosses within.
To boost your Ancient Civilization Parts collection, prioritize capturing dungeon bosses or Alpha Pals. Utilize the Meat Cleaver to increase your chances and enhance the drop rate of obtaining these valuable parts.
Obtain Five Ancient Civilization Cores:
There's no method to find or craft this item in the wild; your only option is to secure it as a drop from one of the Raid Bosses, either Bellanoir or Bellanoir Libero. While the upside is that it has a guaranteed drop rate from Bellanoir, you'll need to defeat Bellanoir five times to gather five Ancient Civilization Cores.
Remember that summoning and battling Bellanoir won't be a walk in the park unless you've geared your build towards late-game capabilities, which demands thorough preparation.
Utilizing the Ability Glasses:
Every Pal possesses concealed attributes known as Individual Values, or IVs, which span from 0 to 100. These IVs influence Attack, Defense, and Maximum HP, indicating a Pal's potential strength in each respective area.
Previously, deciphering these values required capturing Pals and utilizing online IV calculators for complex calculations. However, the introduction of Ability Glasses to Palworld has rendered these calculators obsolete, streamlining the process of understanding IVs.
Equipped with Ability Glasses, you gain insight into the IVs of nearby Pals, aiding in your decision-making process regarding whether to capture them. IVs rated 70 and above are highlighted in green by the Ability Glasses, signaling their excellence.
Moreover, breeding offers a chance to transfer IVs from parent Pals to the offspring. By capturing Pals with high IVs using Ability Glasses, you can breed them to produce offspring with superior IV values and corresponding impressive stats. Subsequently, you can assess the worthiness of training the hatched Pal by verifying if it also boasts commendable IV stats.
Furthermore, Alpha Pals and Lucky Pals are predisposed to possess commendable IV values.
