Hatching Pal Eggs is a great way to fill your Pal collection without having to capture every Pal you encounter. Each Pal Egg is unique, even among eggs of the same type, and it depends on their size. In this article, we will introduce all the Pal Eggs you can find, where you are most likely to find them, and how to safely hatch them once you bring them back to your base.

Where are the Pal Egg locations in Palworld?
You can find Pal Eggs almost anywhere in the world of Palworld. Although their spawn locations may seem random, that's not entirely true. Each egg is like a Lifmunk statue, and their positions are often fixed, although some may be more obvious than others.
You can often find them in interesting places like mountaintops or hidden corners and crevices throughout the world. If you excel at secret hunting like Lifmunk statues, you'll have an easier time finding these eggs in Palworld compared to others.
Additionally, the generation of any type of Pal egg can occur in any location, meaning you won't necessarily find charred eggs in hot areas or frozen eggs in cold regions, although you can certainly find them within their respective biomes. And wet eggs can also be found outside of water, while dark-colored eggs can be found in direct sunlight.
How do I hatch Pal Eggs in Palworld?
To unlock the Egg Hatchery, you need to progress to Technology Level 7 and earn an Ancient Tech Point. You can achieve this by defeating any boss or Alpha Pal in the wild or dungeons. It doesn't matter which one you defeat, so pursue the one closest to your level. Once you have the egg hatchery, you can start hatching pal eggs at your base. You can find the following eggs no matter where you go:
-
Verdant Egg (Grass)
-
Charred Egg (Fire)
-
Rocky Egg (round)
-
Frozen Egg (Ice)
-
Electric Egg (Electric)
-
Dragon Egg (Dragon)
-
Dark Egg (Dark)
-
Wet Egg (Water)
-
Normal Egg (Neutral)
What does it mean when a Pal's egg is too cold or too hot?
Each Pal egg has a preference, which is to hatch at the coldest or hottest temperature in the shortest hatching time possible. While it's not necessary to set the optimal temperature during the hatching process, it can help expedite the process.
For example, dark eggs prefer it to be slightly cold, but a complete lack of heat can make the egg feel too cold. The same goes for wet eggs. If you want to hatch your eggs quickly, consider placing some heat sources near the hatchery, such as torches, bonfires, fireplaces, or heaters.
What does it mean if my Pal's egg is large?
Sometimes, while searching for Pal eggs, you may come across a large egg that is not just the standard Pal egg. These eggs will have the term "large" in their names, indicating a higher possibility of hatching rare Pals. It is not guaranteed that the pal inside this egg will be rarer, but the odds are much higher.
For example, I discovered a regular wet egg hatching into a regular penguin, while the large wet egg I hatched turned out to be a rare penguin.
